Pickleball is a cross between badminton, tennis and table tennis. It is played indoors on a badminton court. This group is for beginners, improvers and those members who are more experienced. The physical activity is likely to be of vigorous intensity e.g. running for a bus. Your heart and breathing rate is likely to be much faster and you will need to breath deeper. The physical agility is of a high level, requiring good balance, good decision making and reasonable hand-eye co-ordination, which will enable members to make rapid changes of direction when responding to the movement of the ball. Members will require comfortable clothing and gym shoes/trainers with a white/light sole. (To avoid marking the court). Coached games will be available for beginners, played in a friendly, supportive environment and it's good fun too! Members are welcome to come and see what it’s like before applying to join.
