Scarborough u3a - Learn, Laugh, Live
Is the u3a for you?
Do you consider yourself retired or semi-retired? The u3a provides a local community for you where people share their skills, learn new things and pursue their interests.
Take a look at the groups we have on offer. Just click here and browse the list. From cycling to gardening, from knitting to painting, you can learn with us or offer your own interests to others.

Our newly launched group Garden Lovers has now begun to meet and are busy discussing their plans for the coming months.
Although this group is already full, the huge interest suggests we could soon see a second group forming. If you're interested, simply join the waiting list, and lets see what happens......

The u3a recorder ensemble presents a whole new concept of the image of recorder music. While most of us might think of the recorder as a small screeching instrument that we endured in primary school, this talented group of musicians use different sizes of recorders which, when harmonised in some brilliantly arranged pieces can totally change your opinion of this under-rated instrument.
Our recorder group provided music at our Open Day in July and has entertained members at one of our coffee mornings. Maybe you have a recorder stored away somewhere from years gone by?

A brand new group for Scarborough u3a aims to welcome those many people who relocate to Scarborough and share with them some of the local spots, walks, views, tea and coffee as well as make new friends at the same time. To find out more, click below. Members can register their interest by simply selecting to join the group.

Whether you are a member or not, we welcome you to monthly coffee mornings on the second Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Wreyfield Methodist Church, Wreyfield Drive, YO12 6NP.
For just £2.00 you can have a cuppa and biscuits.
Looking forward to seeing you then, where you can catch up with old friends and chat to new ones.
