PLEASE NOTE THIS GROUP DOES NOT RUN EVERY WEEK - SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS.This group is for beginners and more experienced bowlers. Plenty of coaching and encouragement will be available. Crown Green Bowling is an outdoor game played on grass. Warm clothing and flat soled shoes (trainers) and, occasionally, waterproofs are all the equipment needed. Bowls, mats and jacks will be provided by Eastfield Bowling Club which is situated behind the 'One Stop' shop on Eastway YO11 3LT. A large, free car park is available at the Sports field.
The sessions will run on Tuesday afternoon 2.00-4.00 .
An initial meeting on 9th September will introduce prospective players to the facilities and allow Mike to outline how the sessions will run.
The first playing session would be on 30th September and 9 sessions would run through to 2nd December.
Allowing for the dark and cold, the next sessions would run from 3rd March - 31st March.
After a break for Easter, sessions will run from 14th April - 30th June, making 26 sessions in all.
