New Age Kurling is a cross between curling, as played on ice and Bowls, though no ice or running
with a brush is involved. Teams play with either red or blue ‘stones’ that have ball bearings so
they can roll fairy accurately on smooth surfaces. Participants deliver ‘stones’ from one end of
the court to a target at the other end, those closest to the centre of the target score. Stones
can be pushed along the floor by hand or by using a ‘pusher’, e.g.by a wheelchair user or
someone who finds bending tricky.
